Who's your BIG WIG?

Join the Wig Wednesday BIG WIG challenge and fundraise for Kiwi kids with cancer.

What is the BIG WIG challenge?

The Big Wig challenge is an audacious way for schools, businesses, and community groups to get behind Wig Wednesday and amplify their fundraising.

It's an easy concept: set a fundraising target, nominate a "Big Wig" (want to see the boss or principal in a wig? Make it happen!).

When you hit your fundraising target your "Big Wig" must complete the challenge - by wearing a wig of your choice, or even lopping off their locks!

How do you get started?

  1. Nominate your "Big Wig" and set the challenge

  2. Set your fundraising target

  3. Create your Big Wig fundraising page (click on Start Fundraising button above)

  4. Share your fundraising page with your colleagues, friends and families. Ask them to help you hit your fundraising target by making a donation through your Big Wig challenge page.

Don't forget to take photo's of your "Big Wig" to include in your next internal update and let everyone know how much was raised, and the difference it will make to the lives of children with cancer and their families.

On Wednesday 19 June, join in on all the Wig Wednesday fun. Post your Wig Wednesday pics to your Social Media channels and check out the Child Cancer Foundations Facebook and Instagram feeds. Don't forget to use the hash tags #wigwednesday and #bigwigchallenge and tag @childcancerfoundation.

Child Cancer Foundation Inc

Every week more than three children in New Zealand are diagnosed with cancer.

A child having cancer is probably one of the toughest things a family will ever go through. But Child Cancer Foundation is here to maintain hope and provide strength. We help with the big things like emotional, social and practical support. But also the little things they have probably never even thought about.

Right now Child Cancer Foundation is helping over 1700 Kiwi kids with cancer and their families. We receive no direct government funding. To support these families, we must raise funds through a variety of national and local fundraising activities. We do this with the help of generous peer to peer fundraisers such as you.

Thank you for your support!

Child Cancer Foundation Inc is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005, registration number CC20434.
